Q Can I choose a different song or songs for my ceremony than are listed here?
A Yes, absolutely. On the form in the next section, you can list special requests and ask if they are available. Most of the time, it will not be a problem - I have a large repertoire, more details of which are listed in the Music Room. Sometimes I will have to buy the sheet music for maybe $5 a song, and occasionally there is a special arrangement fee of $25 per song. This usually only applies if you are booking the Cello & Piano combo and want a song that we don't normally have in our repertoire.
Q Do you attend the Rehearsal?
A No. I would have to charge you for the time, and it is unneccessary. As long as you have selected the music that you want, the main thing is for me to establish communication on the day with either your co-ordinator, family member, or whoever is going to give the visual cues at the start of the ceremony. I also always make a point of talking to the officiant and establishing how the ceremony is going to proceed. After playing many, many weddings, I am experienced enough to get it right on the day.
When I have recieved your booking request I will send you an email with all the details. Please return, confirm and provide a mailing address for the simple contract that I have. This requires a non refundable deposit of $100.
I will be in touch the week before the wedding or event to confirm everything with you, and that will be one more thing you don't have to worry about!
